The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson shoots for a takedown but Leblanc saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Henderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Leblanc could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Henderson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Leblanc as he avoids it easily.

Henderson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Leblanc's half guard.
Leblanc wants to get back to full guard.
Leblanc is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Henderson scores with a couple of nice shots.

It appears Leblanc was looking to counter with a kick there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Henderson enables Leblanc to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Henderson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Henderson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Leblanc stacks Henderson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Leblanc!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Henderson is on top in guard.
