The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothchild moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kira shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rothchild eats them both and turns towards Kira to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Pollyanne Rothchild has been cut.
Rothchild tries to clinch

Rothchild closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Rothchild is looking to take a break and control but Kira is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kira misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Rothchild is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kira sees it coming and defends easily.
Rothchild wants to free his trapped foot but Kira is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Rothchild is trying to control the action in half guard but Kira is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rothchild is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kira is just riding it out for now. Rothchild eventually gives up the hold.

Rothchild tries to free his leg and advance position but Kira is retaining full guard.

Rothchild lying in Kira's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Kira decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Rothchild taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
