Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hans Weaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriel Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weaver closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dias did well to prevent Weaver getting side control.

Dias makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Weaver moves out of range of the strikes.
It appears Weaver was looking to counter with a kick there.

Dias closes the distance and pushes Weaver back into the cage.

Weaver ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Weaver no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Weaver has his foot on Dias's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dias works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dias gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Dias looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Weaver escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dias gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dias decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Weaver, up you get!
Dias shoots for a double leg takedown but Weaver sprawls well. He's pushed Dias's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Weaver manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Dias jumps guard and drags Weaver to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Weaver would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Dias throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Weaver wants to stand but Dias has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Dias looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Weaver has picked Dias up and slammed him! Dias can't keep hold of the triangle and Weaver manages to pass to side control!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dias throws a leg kick but Weaver moved away.
Weaver is looking to counter punch.
Weaver dodges the punch combination from Dias.
Dias tries to close the distance and clinch up but Weaver swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Weaver moves into range and clinches up with Dias.
Dias tries to break free but Weaver pushes him back against the cage.
Dias can't break the clinch.
Dias gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Weaver.

A close round but Uriel Dias will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dias shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Weaver napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Weaver tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Dias is looking for the choke from the back position but Weaver is controlling his hands well.

Dias wants to stand and escape but Weaver is having none of it.
Weaver wanted to stand there but Dias had control of the position.
Weaver with a flurry of punches that miss.

Dias is working an open guard so Weaver takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Dias moves in looking to clinch but Weaver pushes him off.
As Dias looks to move away, Weaver throws a big counter combo bu Dias just gets out of the way.
Dias connects with a body shot that sends Weaver's belly button to the back.
Weaver shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dias as he avoids it easily.
Uriel Dias is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Weaver shoots in but no luck this time.

Dias manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Weaver on his heels. He'll look to pass Weaver's guard now, I'm sure.

Weaver is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Weaver not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Dias wants to control from the top but Weaver keeps moving.

Weaver really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Weaver wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Dias manages to pass to side control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Weaver tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dias wants a takedown but no success here.
Weaver jumps guard but Dias stands there with Weaver around his waist. Weaver gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Dias pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Weaver stuffs the takedown attempt from Dias. Dias gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dias feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Weaver holds on and takes a little breather.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Weaver is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dias's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dias's back!

Weaver is trying to stick to Dias's back but Dias is turning into Weaver. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Weaver's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dias.

Weaver is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dias pulls his head out easily.

Dias lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Dias is keen to just control but Weaver is a slippery customer.

Weaver is looking to get back to his feet here but Dias is keeping cool and he's managed to take Weaver's back.
