Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernst Strobn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ayedolv Hitlar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ernst Strobn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ayedolv Hitlar!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitlar scores with a punch to the head.


It looks like Ernst Strobn has been cut.
Strobn looks to land a right hand but Hitlar moved out of range.
Strobn shoots in for a takedown but Hitlar shows good takedown defense.
Strobn misses with a series of wild punches.
Hitlar ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Strobn is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice takedown defense from Strobn. No joy for Hitlar on that attempt.
Hitlar misses with a takedown attempt - Strobn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Ernst Strobn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ayedolv Hitlar.
Hitlar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Hitlar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hitlar wants to stand but Strobn is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hitlar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strobn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Strobn could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hitlar thows a big elbow that misses.
Hitlar trying to control the position from guard on top but Strobn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Strobn has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hitlar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hitlar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hitlar sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Strobn defending well though.
Hitlar drops an elbow to the side of Strobn's head.
Strobn is looking to control Hitlar's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Strobn avoid being mounted?
Strobn tries to get to full guard but Hitlar has control of the leg.
Hitlar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Strobn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Hitlar slips a nice elbow through Strobn's hands, connecting with Strobn's forehead.
Hitlar thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Hitlar stops Strobn from getting back to his feet.
Hitlar uses his free foot to push down on Strobn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Strobn.
You get the feeling that Strobn really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Strobn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hitlar postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Strobn looks a forlorn figure.
Strobn is trying to escape the mount.
Hitlar landing punches.
Strobn is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Hitlar is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Hitlar is landing with some decent strikes but Strobn is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Hitlar with shots to the head and body - Strobn looks very uncomfortable down there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Strobn is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hitlar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Strobn is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hitlar is controlling him.

Hitlar tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Hitlar tries to roll over but Strobn keeps him under control.
Strobn takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Strobn stands up from half guard.

Strobn has taken the fight to the clinch.

Strobn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hitlar wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Hitlar fails to land the takedown.
Hitlar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Strobn smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Hitlar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Strobn!
The referee warns Strobn that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Hitlar seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hitlar is trying to control the action in half guard but Strobn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hitlar tries to push Strobn's head away but Strobn is holding on tight.
Hitlar connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ayedolv Hitlar has got the better of the ground game so far.
Strobn wants to control but Hitlar is having none of it.

BOOM! Hitlar connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Ayedolv Hitlar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Hitlar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Strobn tries to avoid it but Hitlar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Strobn to the ground. Strobn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Strobn wants to get back to his feet.
Strobn trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Hitlar is pressing down on Strobn's thigh, looking to free his foot. Strobn is holding on for now.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hitlar lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Hitlar takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Strobn controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Strobn sneaks out the side door and pushes Hitlar away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Ernst Strobn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Strobn moves in looking to clinch but Hitlar pushes him off.
Hitlar shoots in and drives through. Strobn sprawls well.
Ernst Strobn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ayedolv Hitlar.

Hitlar is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Strobn gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Hitlar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Strobn gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hitlar can't get the takedown.
Strobn scores with a shoulder strike.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hitlar prevents Strobn from breaking the clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Strobn.
Strobn tries to pull guard but Hitlar won't allow it.
Strobn crunches a lovely knee into Hitlar's ribcage.
Hitlar tries for a takedown. No joy.
Strobn has had enough of the clinch but Hitlar keeps him there for the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ernst Strobn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ayedolv Hitlar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hitlar scores with a hook to the body. Strobn takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

I would just about give that final round to Ayedolv Hitlar.
I've got Hitlar winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
