Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavi misses with a takedown attempt - Medza sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tavi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Medza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tavi somewhat.
Medza is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Tavi.
Tavi clinches with his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tavi jumps guard and drags Medza to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Tavi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Medza is aware though and is defending well.

Tavi's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Medza stands up over Tavi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Medza postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Tavi seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Medza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tavi on the ground.

Tavi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Tavi looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Medza is defending well. Tavi quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Medza has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Tavi celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
