Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stephan Gutierrez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Stockman!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutierrez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Stockman with the counter takedown but Gutierrez avoids it easily.
Stockman moves into the clinch.
Stockman has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Gutierrez regains guard immediately.
Gutierrez wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Stockman manages to pass to side control.
Stockman lands strikes from half guard.
Gutierrez is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gutierrez is looking for a sweep. Stockman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Stockman prevents Gutierrez from improving his position.
Stockman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gutierrez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stockman winds up and cracks Gutierrez with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Gutierrez throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Gutierrez manages to get to full guard.
Stockman cracks Gutierrez with a solid left hand.
Stockman scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Gutierrez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stockman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Stockman is in close to Gutierrez's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gutierrez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stockman is one step ahead there.

Stockman postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stockman lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stockman is in close to Gutierrez's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Stockman stands up over Gutierrez, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Oh Gutierrez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stockman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Stockman stops Gutierrez from standing up.
Stockman gets to his feet and stands over Gutierrez, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Gutierrez felt that one! Stockman unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Gutierrez from any more punishment!
