Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noburo Kobayashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis misses with a series of wild punches.
Lewis takes a swing at Kobayashi's ribcage but misses.
Kobayashi slips under a jab from Lewis.

Kobayashi rushes Lewis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kobayashi wants a takedown.
Lewis looking for a takedown.

Kobayashi manages to pull guard.

Kobayashi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Lewis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kobayashi's head.
Lewis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kobayashi's guard.
Kobayashi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lewis's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lewis's back!

Lewis slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Lewis regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lewis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lewis postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Kobayashi to stand up.
Mark Lewis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kobayashi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lewis.
Kobayashi drops his hands momentarily and Lewis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lewis throws a lazy right hand but Kobayashi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Lewis misses the target.
Kobayashi slips under a jab from Lewis.
Lewis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kobayashi is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kobayashi staying out of range there.
Lewis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lewis throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lewis uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lewis lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Noburo Kobayashi has been cut.
Lewis closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kobayashi! Lewis dives in looking to finish! Kobayashi is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Lewis!
