Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Munchausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bryan Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Edgar Munchausen!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munchausen misses with the combination.
It looked like Turner wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Munchausen tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Turner counters with a left to the body.
Munchausen tries to land a body kick
and Turner counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Munchausen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Turner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A counter left hand to the body from Turner misses its target.
Turner keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Munchausen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Munchausen wants to advance to full mount but Turner doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Turner manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Munchausen is looking to control Turner's arms but Turner gets an underhook and turns him. Now Munchausen has his back to the cage.

Munchausen has Turner pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Munchausen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Turner tumbling to the mat - Munchausen dives into Turner's guard.

Munchausen wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.
Munchausen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Munchausen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Turner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Turner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Munchausen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Munchausen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Turner looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Turner looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Turner!

Turner trying to control the action but Munchausen is working from the bottom.
Munchausen is letting Turner control him for a moment.
Munchausen looking for a sweep but Turner has passed into full mount! Oh no!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Turner controlling the pace for now.
Munchausen is working to get back to half guard.
Turner thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Munchausen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Munchausen is in all sorts of trouble here.
Munchausen wants to control but Turner is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Munchausen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Turner sneaks out the side door and pushes Munchausen away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Munchausen looking to sit in guard and control but Turner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bryan Turner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Munchausen kicks off Turner and gets to his feet.

Munchausen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Turner tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Munchausen is in Turner's guard.
Munchausen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Munchausen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Turner stacks Munchausen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Turner!
Turner gets to mount! Munchausen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Munchausen wants to control but Turner is having none of it.
Munchausen sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Turner passes into side control, despite Munchausen's attempt to control the position.
Munchausen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Turner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Turner gets to mount! Munchausen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Turner misses with a head shot.
Munchausen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Munchausen tries to hold on but Turner postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Munchausen is looking to improve his position but Turner isn't that keen on the idea.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Edgar Munchausen will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Turner has his feet on Munchausen's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Munchausen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Munchausen is controlling Turner's posture.
Turner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Munchausen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Turner stays in close to Munchausen's body and controls the position.

Munchausen working for submissions but it's allowed Turner to get to half guard.
Turner keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Turner prevents Munchausen from improving his position.
Munchausen is trying to control but Turner manages to pass to mount!

Bryan Turner showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Turner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
