Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Leonard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Faustina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leonard fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Faustina to the ground. Leonard is now in Faustina's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Faustina controls Leonard momentarily but Leonard frees himself.
Leonard with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Leonard working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Faustina's head.
Faustina is trying to control the position but Leonard postures up.

Leonard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Leonard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Leonard distracts Faustina with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Faustina is rocked!
Faustina really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leonard. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Faustina is still in real trouble! Can Leonard finish him?
Leonard gets to his feet and stands over Faustina, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Faustina felt that one! Leonard unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Faustina from any more punishment!
