The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seiler's corner calls for a 1-2. Seiler obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Saint Nick has been cut.
Seiler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nick sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Seiler.
Niklas Seiler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Seiler only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Seiler gets the takedown into side control.
Seiler in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Let's hope that Seiler has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Nick parries the strikes from Seiler easily there. Seiler is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Nick to escape.

Seiler looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Seiler controls the position.
Seiler lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Nick down.
Nick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seiler on the ground.
Seiler tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Seiler is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Nick will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Seiler lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Nick down.
Seiler fails to land a wild elbow strike.
A big shot lands for Seiler! That's hurt Nick! Will he recover? Seiler fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Niklas Seiler thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
