The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gasanov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yusev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gasanov throws a right hand that Yusev ducks under and follows up with a left that Yusev also avoids with ease.
Gasanov misses with a jab, cross combination.
Yusev wants to counter with a clinch but Gasanov pushes him away.
Gasanov takes a swing at Yusev's ribcage but misses.
Yusev shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gasanov as he avoids it easily.
Gasanov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Yusev's head.
Yusev wants to clinch up but Gasanov keeps it at a distance.
Gasanov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gasanov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yusev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Yusev takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

No joy there for Gasanov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gasanov feints a jab promting Yusev to slip. Gasanov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Yusev slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Gasanov fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Yusev is out of range.
Yusev is looking to clinch but Gasanov is avoiding it.
Yusev is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gasanov.
Yusev is still on wobbly legs! Can Gasanov finish him?
Yusev takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Yusev shoots in for a takedown but Gasanov shows good takedown defense.
Gasanov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gasanov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Yusev seems to have recovered his senses.
