Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Sykes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jesse Blake has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jesse Blake seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sykes doesn't seem bothered though.
Sykes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Blake tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sykes is able to avoid easily.

It looks like Xavier Sykes has been cut.
Sykes has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Blake jabs Sykes right on the nose. Sykes blinks but takes it well.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Blake might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
