Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kimo Cho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Hofman!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hofman with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hofman has closed the distance and engaged Cho in a clinch.
Cho could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cho has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hofman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Cho is working for takedown but Hofman is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hofman working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Cho is trying to force a seperation but Hofman has the dominant position.
Hofman is trying to break free.
Cho tries to pull guard but Hofman won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimo Cho. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cho jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hofman walks away with a smile on his face. Cho gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cho misses with a combination
and Hofman counters with a crisp right hand that drops Cho! Hofman lets Cho back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hofman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hofman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cho.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cho fails to land the takedown.
Hofman scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hofman cracks Cho with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hofman has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cho to stand back up!
Cho is rocked!
Hofman feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Cho crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Adam Hofman!
