Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cory Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Bosse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DJ Shadow - Organ Donor. Cory Jones has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bosse.
A head kick from Jones lands but Bosse takes it in his stride.
Jones fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bosse checks it well.
Jones throws the kick towards the body but Bosse avoids it.
Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bosse's guard.
Jones forces his way into half guard.
Jones frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bosse defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jones.
Jones with a couple of short strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones cracks Bosse with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jones looking to control and managing it successfully.
Bosse keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Bosse is in a horrible position here. Jones smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bosse is trying desperately to improve position.
Jones is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bosse can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Bosse is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bosse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones lands a big shot there that rocks Bosse but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bosse is looking to escape.

Bosse takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Jones has control of Bosse's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bosse regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jones is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Bosse is bucking up trying to escape but Jones cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bosse is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Jones fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Bosse is rocked!

Bosse is still in real trouble! Can Jones finish him?
Jones postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Bosse badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Jones around the waist but Jones pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Jones is the winner by TKO! Jones jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cory Jones!
An out of breath Cory Jones thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
