Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bodies Drowing Pool kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Davidson appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Martin rushes Davidson and presses him up against the cage.
Davidson pushes Martin back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Martin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Davidson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Martin is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Davidson scores with a couple of nice shots.
Davidson lands with a punch from half guard.
Davidson winds up and cracks Martin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Davidson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Martin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Davidson drops an elbow to the side of Martin 's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davidson slips a nice elbow through Martin 's hands, connecting with Martin 's forehead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davidson tries to control but Martin wriggling away.
Davidson landing strikes from the mount and Martin is in trouble!
Martin squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Davidson drops a big elbow. That's hurt Martin ! More shots from Davidson and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
