The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Lamoureux coming out on top.
Ground is breathing heavily.
Lamoureux fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lamoureux displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ground throws out the jab.
Lamoureux digs a good body shot into Ground's ribs.
Ground shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A left and a right from Lamoureux both land. Nice combination.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lamoureux, as that shot connected.
Lamoureux connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lamoureux works Ground's body with a nice hook.
Lamoureux sizes up Ground with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Ground is rocked!
Ground takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Oh Ground is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lamoureux lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Spencer Lamoureux!
A very excited looking Spencer Lamoureux rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Mark Ground stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'll be back stronger!'.
