Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pepo Vinkela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Pepo Vinkela!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dwayne Duffy!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duffy stuffs the takedown attempt from Vinkela. Vinkela gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Vinkela or perhaps it was just good defense by Duffy, which made it look bad.

Vinkela shoots in and bounces Duffy off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vinkela drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vinkela jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Vinkela wants to control from the top but Duffy keeps moving.

That has opened up Dwayne Duffy's cut even more.

Vinkela drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vinkela jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Duffy has Vinkela pulled in close to control his posture.

Vinkela makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Vinkela works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Duffy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vinkela is working away from the top position though.
Duffy tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Vinkela has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Duffy takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dwayne Duffy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dwayne Duffy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

In his post fight interview, Pepo Vinkela gave a big smile as he said 'Vinkelo ne proshtava!'.
