The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Islander tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bentos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice body punch from Bentos.
Nice straight punches there by Bentos. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bentos.
Bentos digs a good body shot into Islander's ribs.
Bentos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bentos swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Bentos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Islander sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bentos throws a jab but it's blocked by Islander.
Bentos tries to bum rush Islander with a series of wild strikes but Islander uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Islander doesn't manage to clinch there - Bentos circles away.
Bentos now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Islander on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bentos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bentos looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bentos keeps the fight on the outside.
The Islander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bentos dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Islander is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Islander tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bentos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bentos cracks Islander with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like The Islander has been cut.

A frustrated look appears on Islander's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Islander takes a shot to the head.

Islander is rocked!
Bentos creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Islander with a big uppercut! Islander tries to clinch up but Bentos pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Islander to the mat! Islander covers up and Bentos unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Fray Bentos!
