Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buddie Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Ignacio Cresta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivera kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is My Chemical Romance - I'm Not Okay (I Promise). Cresta has chosen The black keys - I got mine as his entrance music. Juan Ignacio Cresta acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buddie Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juan Ignacio Cresta!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cresta looks to throw the jab but Rivera is out of range.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cresta has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Cresta might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

I would just about give that final round to Juan Ignacio Cresta.
Well Rivera has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
