The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stunner misses with a body kick.
Stunner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stunner has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Hut - $50 in the buildup to the fight.
Stunner throws the kick towards the body but Kirillov avoids it.
Stunner avoids the body shot from Kirillov.
Kirillov tries to keep at a distance but Stunner has taken the fight into the clinch.
Stunner controlling the action here for a moment.
Stunner tries to land a knee to the head but Kirillov blocks with his arms.
Kirillov is looking for a takedown.
Kirillov wants to take the fight to the mat but Stunner manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kirillov has Stunner pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stunner manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Jay Stunner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Kirillov.
Kirillov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Stunner after a bit of a struggle.

Stunner is pressed up against the cage. Kirillov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stunner down to the mat. Stunner avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kirillov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kirillov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Stunner misses with an uppercut. Kirillov saw that one coming.
Stunner gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kirillov wants to take the fight to the mat but Stunner manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Stunner lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Kirillov has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Stunner clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stunner is trying to get back to his feet but Kirillov has full control of the position and if anything, Stunner has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Stunner trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Stunner is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Stunner is looking to escape but he's done so without protecting himself and Kirillov manages to counter with a nice rear naked choke! Stunner is in trouble and he's forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Max Kirillov!
