The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilenius lands an overhand right.
Wilenius keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kowalski tries for a takedown but Wilenius circles away easily
and Wilenius counters with a nice uppercut.
Wilenius will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kowalski throws a quick counter head kick but Wilenius was just out of range.
Wilenius throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
An attempted straight right counter from Kowalski misses the target.
Ari Wilenius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilenius thuds his right hand into Kowalski's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wilenius connects with a crisp jab.

and Wilenius counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kowalski! He's just covering up as Wilenius starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
