The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustav displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.
Gustav lands a really nice looking cross but Gracie seems unphased.

It looks like Huey Gracie has been cut.

and Gustav counters with a nice body shot.
Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gustav is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Gustav circles away and we're back to standing.

Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown but Gustav manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gracie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Gracie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gracie lands in his opponent's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gustav wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Gracie's hips, looking to push off. But Gracie grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Gustav screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
