The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kositzky misses with a looping right.
Augustus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Abidah Augustus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Augustus throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Kositzky throws a body punch but Augustus moves out of range.
Kositzky wants to clinch up but Augustus keeps it at a distance.
Kositzky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Augustus.
Kositzky slips a jab and a cross from Augustus.
Augustus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kositzky.
Augustus avoids a kick to the body.
Augustus scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kositzky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Augustus on the ground.
Augustus in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kositzky tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Augustus!
