Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiagus Davaru Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Zimbardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Davaru Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Body Head Bangerz feat. Lil' Boosie & Young Bleed - I Smoke, I Drank. Bruce Zimbardo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Bruce Zimbardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davaru Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Zimbardo, looking for a takedown. Davaru Silva pushes Zimbardo against the cage but Zimbardo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Davaru Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zimbardo did well to prevent Davaru Silva getting side control.

Zimbardo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Davaru Silva wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Davaru Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zimbardo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Davaru Silva has hold of Zimbardo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Zimbardo seems comfortable defending it but Davaru Silva has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Zimbardo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Zimbardo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Davaru Silva couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Thiagus Davaru Silva decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
