Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Though (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Adriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Though comes to the cage accompanied by Hall Of Fame - The Script feat. will.i.am. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Though shoots and misses
and Though takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like David Though has been cut.
Though tries to clinch but Adriel moves out of range.
Though with a lazy takedown attempt

and Adriel counters with a beautiful punch that sends Though to the canvas!

Though is rocked!
Adriel controlling from the top position.
Adriel wants to pass the guard but Though is keeping the position.
Adriel postures up in Though's guard and throws a big left but Though blocks it.
Though keeping moving, preventing Adriel from controlling successfully.

Adriel stands up from Though's guard - Adriel perhaps looking for a knockout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Though thows a leg kick but Adriel checks it

and Adriel counters with a beautiful punch that sends Though to the canvas!
Oh Though is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Though working for a triangle but Adriel defends it easily.
Adriel is looking to work some ground and pound but Though has wrist control.
Though seems to have got his legs back now.
Adriel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Adriel controls from within his opponent's guard.
Though might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Adriel tries to free his leg and advance position but Though is retaining full guard.
Though doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Adriel controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Though trying to keep a closed guard but Adriel is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adriel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Though scores with a body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Adriel cracks Though with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Though shoots for a takedown but Adriel saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Though. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A punch lands to the side of Adriel 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Angel Adriel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Though takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Though walks straight into a right hand from Adriel - that's dropped him! Adriel jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Though from any more punishment! Though complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
