Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pete Schwetty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaspar Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gaspar Gomez!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwetty throws a lazy right hand but Gomez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Schwetty, right into the meat.
Schwetty takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Gomez closes the distance and clinches.

Gomez breaks the clinch.
Schwetty tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gomez is able to avoid easily.
Sloppy strikes from Gomez. Those never looked like landing.
The crowd cheers as Schwetty lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gomez doesn't seem phased though.
Schwetty lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gomez takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Schwetty throws a series of punches but Gomez avoids them all with ease.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Schwetty cracks Gomez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Schwetty has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gomez to stand back up!

Gomez is rocked!
Schwetty lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Gomez is still on wobbly legs! Can Schwetty finish him?

Gomez moves into the clinch.
Schwetty misses with the head strike.
Schwetty struggles to land a body shot inside as Gomez controls his hands.
Schwetty lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Gomez or not.
Schwetty pushes Gomez against the cage. Schwetty is working some dirty boxing. Schwetty pushes off with a quick right hook! Gomez goes down! Gomez tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Schwetty moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
