Cartwright closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cartwright has an Americana. Alcantara didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cartwright is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cartwright hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Post fight, an emotional Cortland Cartwright said 'The Greeks should be responsible for their own actions. But let's say they recklessly borrow money for a big party and now they have no hope of paying it all back. Should the banks who recklessly lent them the money be responsible for their own actions? Or should the EU continue to bail them out?'.
