The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Statham rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bourne moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bourne throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bourne misses with a leg kick
and Statham counters with a series of strikes. Bourne will be more careful next time no doubt.
Statham swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bourne.
Statham throws a sloppy head kick and Bourne moves out of range easily.
Bourne throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Statham.
Statham buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bourne looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Left hook, right uppercut from Bourne.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Statham counters with a one-two to the body.
Statham lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bourne takes a step back to recover.
Bourne looks winded!
Bourne takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bourne on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Statham goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Statham throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Bourne is rocked!
Statham lands a brutal head kick. Bourne looks out on his feet and Statham throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
