Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toney Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Macentire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Macentire will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Toney Vasquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macentire closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Vasquez did well to prevent Macentire getting side control.
Vasquez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Macentire wants to control from the top but Vasquez keeps moving.
Macentire forces his way into half guard.
Ground and pound from Macentire.
Macentire throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macentire wants to pass to mount but Vasquez is defending the position.
Macentire is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Vasquez is just riding it out for now. Macentire eventually gives up the hold.
Vasquez on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Vasquez wants to improve his position but Macentire is controlling well.
Vasquez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vasquez is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Macentire defends well.
Macentire stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vasquez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Vasquez looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Vasquez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Macentire is aware though and is defending well.
Macentire trying to control the position from guard on top but Vasquez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Macentire postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Macentire wants to control from the top but Vasquez keeps moving.

Vasquez throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Macentire fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vasquez to the ground. Macentire is now in Vasquez's guard.
Vasquez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Macentire manages to get himself to full guard.
Vasquez really is a fat lump.
Macentire lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Vasquez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Macentire connects with a couple of short punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Macentire is looking to advance position but Vasquez has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Macentire sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Macentire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vasquez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vasquez is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Macentire gets back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Macentire looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Vasquez trying to control but Macentire is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Macentire dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Macentire drags the fight down to the ground.
Macentire has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Vasquez working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Vasquez wants to stand but Macentire is controlling his posture from full guard.
Macentire is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Vasquez has his hands clasped together but Macentire extends and breaks Vasquez's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Macentire.
