Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tetsu Ishida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonnis Koc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonnis Koc has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tetsu Ishida's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koc fails with a takedown attempt.
Ishida tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ishida throws a front kick aimed at Koc's knee but Koc avoids it well.
Ishida misses with a low kick.
Ishida walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Koc checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Ishida can't do much from the bottom here.

Koc tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ishida stops Koc from passing to mount.

Koc wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ishida keeps working.
Koc is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Ishida's shoulder. That is not cool.
Koc throws an elbow but Ishida slips to the side and avoids it well.

Koc wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ishida, who protects the arm well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ishida throws a head kick that misses.
Koc shoots in for a takedown but Ishida shows good takedown defense.
Ishida throws a low kick but Koc avoids it.
Ishida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ishida connects with a solid leg kick.
Tetsu Ishida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ishida tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Good leg kick by Ishida there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Koc checks a leg kick.

Ishida does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Koc is trying to control the action in half guard but Ishida is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Koc is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ishida has managed to free his arm - good work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ishida tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Koc's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

and Koc counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Koc stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ishida swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ishida is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Tetsu Ishida is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Koc thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
