The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Domino thuds a left hand into Poe's body.
Poe looks to land a combination but Domino avoids it well.

Domino throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Poe on the side of the head.
Poe moves in looking to clinch but Domino pushes him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
King Domino dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Poe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Domino's waist but Domino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Poe off to one side.

As Poe backs off Domino throws a huge counter combo but Poe manages to avoid it all.
King Domino seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Domino lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
