Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juji Gatame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idi oCrazy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gatame comes into the arena with Storm blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatame shoots for a takedown but oCrazy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that oCrazy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Gatame lands with a shot to the body.
oCrazy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gatame slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Gatame uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from oCrazy.
oCrazy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As oCrazy looks to move away, Gatame throws a big counter combo bu oCrazy just gets out of the way.
Nice straight punches there by oCrazy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of oCrazy.

Gatame has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Heavy Metal in the buildup to the fight.

oCrazy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

oCrazy on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gatame lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and oCrazy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from oCrazy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Gatame is stalling here. oCrazy is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gatame seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and oCrazy has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
