The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mc Donnagh throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rex Rohim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rohim moves into the clinch successfully.
Mc Donnagh fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rohim is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mc Donnagh pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Mc Donnagh has his foot on Rohim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rohim works his way back into a safe position though.

and Mc Donnagh counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Rohim follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Rohim takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rohim gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rohim tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Rohim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rohim shoots for a double leg takedown but Mc Donnagh sprawls well. He's pushed Rohim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rohim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mc Donnagh.

Mc Donnagh is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rohim can do to turn this around?

Rohim is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Mc Donnagh locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Rohim is forced to tap!
