The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ji Sung shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as mc sprawls well. mc wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ji Sung gets slowly back to his feet.
mc darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
We've been informed that mc has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Ji Sung turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ji Sung manages to end up in side control.
