Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cinder Smaug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlton comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 2Pac - I'm A Soldier (Echale Mojo Remix) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Carlton!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smaug lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carlton circles away quickly and effectively.
Carlton is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Carlton scores with a nice body kick.
Carlton scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Smaug throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Carlton paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


It looks like Cinder Smaug has been cut.
Smaug is looking to chop away at Carlton's legs.
Carlton has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Smaug is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Carlton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smaug, pushing him back against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Smaug scores with a nice short uppercut.
Carlton blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Carlton lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Smaug backwards.

Smaug tries to counter by clinching up but Carlton breaks away and moves out of range.

Carlton clobbers Smaug with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Smaug jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A bone on bone clash there as Carlton blocks the leg kick.
Carlton moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Carlton misses with a few strikes there.
Smaug tries a head kick but it misses.
Carlton tries a quick counter leg kick but Smaug is wise to it.
Smaug tries to land a leg kick but Carlton saw it coming and moves away.
Smaug misses with a lunging right hand

and Carlton moves into the clinch.
Smaug tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Carlton's elbow.
Smaug tries to throw a body punch but Carlton avoids it by throwing Smaug back against the cage.

Carlton keeps control of Smaug as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Carlton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carlton lets loose with a powerful body kick. Smaug will feel that in the morning.
Carlton connects with an inside leg kick.
Smaug misses with a series of wild punches.

Cinder Smaug's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smaug. Carlton does a little dance to reset his feet.

Carlton gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Smaug.

Smaug escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smaug looks to throw the jab but Carlton is out of range.
Carlton connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.


Smaug is rocked!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Carlton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smaug.

Carlton cracks Smaug with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Smaug looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Carlton finish him?
Oh Smaug is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


Jeez, Cinder Smaug's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Carlton throws a head kick that misses.
Smaug lands with a kick to the temple. Carlton shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"


It looks like Kyle Carlton has been cut.
Smaug misses with a hook.
Smaug is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carlton.
Carlton moves out of range of the strikes.
Carlton appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Smaug throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smaug seems to have got his legs back now.
Smaug throws an off balance right hand

and Carlton counters with a crisp right hand that drops Smaug! Carlton lets Smaug back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Carlton connects with a leg kick. Smaug looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Carlton uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smaug.
Smaug looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Smaug cracks the inside of Carlton's front leg.
Smaug rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Carlton counters with a right hand from hell and Smaug is out cold! A vicious knockout!
