Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guy Georges!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Georges tried to score with a low kick but Wakizashi checks it.
Georges lands a jab to the head.


It looks like Kabuto Wakizashi has been cut.

Georges drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wakizashi defends it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Georges tightens his grip and picks Wakizashi up, before dumping him to the ground. Wakizashi manages to land in guard.

and Georges decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wakizashi's guard.
Wakizashi controls Georges momentarily but Georges frees himself.
Georges is working Wakizashi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Georges accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Georges throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Wakizashi escapes and throws Georges's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Georges has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
You can see the frustration on Georges's face as Wakizashi controls the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Georges gets back to full guard.
Wakizashi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Georges swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Georges lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Georges tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wakizashi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kabuto Wakizashi is winning the standup battle so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Guy Georges showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Wakizashi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Georges tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wakizashi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Georges throws a looping overhand right but Wakizashi ducks down to avoid it.
Georges seems to have recovered his senses.
Georges moves to clinch but Wakizashi breaks away
and Wakizashi counters with a huge head kick that drops Georges! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kabuto Wakizashi!
Kabuto Wakizashi seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
