The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miranovic closes the distance and clinches up with Kota, looking for a takedown. Miranovic pushes Kota against the cage but Kota circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Miranovic misses with a double jab.
Kota is looking to counter punch.
Miranovic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Miranovic throws a right hand that Kota ducks under and follows up with a left that Kota also avoids with ease.
Boro Miranovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miranovic.
Miranovic lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kota backs up against the cage.

It looks like Lias Kota has been cut.
Kota tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Miranovic defends well and Kota ends up having to push Miranovic into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Miranovic tries to counter with a clinch but Kota shakes him off and moves away.
Miranovic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kota.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miranovic shoots for a takedown but Kota saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A quick step to the side and Kota tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lias Kota has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boro Miranovic.
Miranovic goes for a double leg but Kota avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kota continues to drive forward.
Miranovic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kota appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
