Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon Shakur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stipe Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shakur comes to the cage accompanied by Legendary. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Shakur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stipe Nogueira!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira tries to close the distance and clinch but Shakur swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nogueira feints a jab promting Shakur to slip. Nogueira then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shakur slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Shakur dodges the punch combination from Nogueira.

Shakur drives through and clinches with Nogueira against the cage.

Shakur breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A solid body kick from Shakur.
Nogueira fails to land with a series of punches.

Shakur steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nogueira.

Nogueira rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shakur moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Shakur seems to be working for a kimura but Nogueira defends the submission attempt.
Shakur takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shakur is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Nogueira asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jon Shakur will probably get the nod.

Nogueira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nogueira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Stipe Nogueira has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jon Shakur is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Shakur is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jon Shakur.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shakur, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
