Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vukovic walks into a jab.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Uno enables Vukovic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Uno manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Uno controls Vukovic momentarily but Vukovic frees himself.

Uno is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Vukovic's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Uno could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Uno is trying to keep Vukovic in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vukovic slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Uno is trying to control the position but Vukovic postures up.
Uno wants to control but Vukovic passes easily into half guard.
Uno wants to control but Vukovic is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Vukovic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Uno is fending him off so far but Vukovic persists. Nope, Uno circles away and we're back to standing.

Vukovic gets to mount! Uno was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Vukovic cracks Uno with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Neon Uno's cut is getting worse.
Uno wants to hold on but Vukovic pushes him away.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Neon Uno's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

After the fight, Mirko Vukovic was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
