Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomi Pozsar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomi Pozsar!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pozsar avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Pozsar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
James misses with a hook
and Pozsar counters with an inside leg kick.
James misses with a right hand
and Pozsar counters with a body kick.
James fails with the takedown
and Pozsar counters with a stiff right hand.
James throws a right and a left that Pozsar avoids nicely.
James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
James throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pozsar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
James swings widly with a right hand
and Pozsar counters with a leg kick.
Pozsar misses with a low kick as James jumps back.
James swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
The fighters circling - James throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pozsar needs to keep his hands up - James had a free shot at his head there.
James connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A shot to the liver by James. Beautiful body shot.
James throws a jab but it's blocked by Pozsar.
Pozsar moves away from the strike by James.
Pozsar counters with a body kick.
Alex James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pozsar feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to James's calf.
James misses with an uppercut. Pozsar saw that one coming.
James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pozsar's waist but Pozsar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex James. That's going to take a lot out of him.
James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
James wants to land a leg kick but Pozsar is out of range.
Pozsar flicks out a counter leg kick but James steps away.
Pozsar moves away from the strike by James.
James throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
James shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pozsar pinned against the cage. Pozsar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
James sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Pozsar digs a good hook to James's body.
James has his takedown stuffed
and Pozsar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pozsar connects with a right hand. James shakes it off.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
James throws a hook to the side of Pozsar's head but Pozsar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pozsar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
James fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pozsar on the side of the head.
Nice body punch from Pozsar.
James lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
James tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pozsar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

James jabs at Pozsar's body.
James swings and misses with a hook to the body.
James scores with a jab.
James throws an off balance right hand
and Pozsar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
James jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Pozsar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
James takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
James misses the shot to the body.
James throws an off balance right hand
and Pozsar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
James connects with the punch.
James lands an overhand right.
Tomi Pozsar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pozsar uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from James.
James misses with a looping left.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pozsar shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
James misses the body punch
and Pozsar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
James throws a lazy right hand but Pozsar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
James backing away here, and Pozsar unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Nice cross by Pozsar.
Whack! Pozsar lands a heavy head kick that drops James. The ref tackles Pozsar to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because James was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Tomi Pozsar!
Tomi Pozsar tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
