Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ed Frettish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moka Moka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moka Moka has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ed Frettish's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ed Frettish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moka Moka!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moka misses with a two punch combination.
Moka pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Some wild striking there from Moka.
Moka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Frettish sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moka somewhat.
Frettish has been working on his boxing with his coaches at All Time Wrestling - 12 ELITE COACHES in the buildup to the fight.
Moka jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A little feinted left hand from Frettish on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Frettish. Moka does a little dance to reset his feet.
Frettish fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moka manages to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Moka! But no joy.
Frettish scores with a one two! Moka had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Moka dives in and grabs Frettish's left leg, looking for a takedown. Frettish pushes down on Moka's head and hops out.
Ed Frettish is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Moka's coach down at The Hut - $50 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Moka's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fighters circling - Moka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Frettish counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Moka scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Frettish takes a swing at Moka's ribcage but misses.
Moka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Frettish went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Frettish misses the jab.
Frettish scores with a nice right hand.
Moka rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Frettish to counter with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Frettish counters with a nice uppercut.
Ed Frettish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moka Moka.
Moka walks into a straight right hand from Frettish.
Frettish lands the left hand.


It looks like Moka Moka has been cut.
Moka connects with a right hand. Frettish shakes it off.

Frettish wants to control but Moka is keeping busy.
Frettish on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Frettish tries to get out of the position.
Moka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Moka seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Moka wants to control but Frettish is keeping him busy.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Frettish on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Moka slips a nice elbow through Frettish's hands, connecting with Frettish's forehead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ed Frettish will probably get the nod.

Moka swings widly with a right hand
and Frettish counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
