Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wiley Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronny Schmied (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Schmied's choice of entrance music: Bad Company - House of the rising sun. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Schmied throws a counter combo.
Head loads up on a big right hand but Schmied slips the punch.
Wiley Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schmied throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Head moves into range and clinches up with Schmied.
Head tries to stall but Schmied uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Head could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Head tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Schmied just stands there and leans against the cage.

Schmied's jab looks to have found its range, popping Head under the eye.
Schmied stalks Head and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Head's face. Head staggers backwards, shaken.

Head tries to clinch there but Schmied circles away.
Schmied does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A left and a right from Schmied both land. Nice combination.

As Head backs off Schmied throws a huge counter combo but Head manages to avoid it all.

Head is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Schmied to keep the fight standing.
Head keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Schmied's efforts to push away.
Head is looking to control Schmied's arms but Schmied gets an underhook and turns him. Now Head has his back to the cage.

Schmied lands with a nice combination. Head backs away looking to recover.

Head seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Schmied shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Head is backing up but Schmied catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Head covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Schmied Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
