Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Edan Etena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tigey Maquigregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Etena throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Etena gets a clinch.
Etena has Maquigregor pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Maquigregor manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Maquigregor manages to break the clinch.
Some wild striking there from Etena.
Maquigregor clinches with his opponent.
Maquigregor blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Etena manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maquigregor clinches up with Etena and pushes him back against the cage.
Etena tries a body shot but Maquigregor blocks it.
Maquigregor pulls Etena into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Etena stands and steps away. Maquigregor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Maquigregor fails with the takedown
and Maquigregor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Maquigregor slaps away a takedown attempt from Etena, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Maquigregor drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Etena defends it well.
Maquigregor misses with a low kick.
Maquigregor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Etena's waist but Etena gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maquigregor off to one side.
Maquigregor misses with a takedown attempt - Etena sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Edan Etena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tigey Maquigregor.
Maquigregor clinches.
Etena is trying to pull guard but Maquigregor has him pressed against the cage.
Maquigregor gets control of Etena's arms and successfully pulls guard. Maquigregor will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Etena is looking to stand up but Maquigregor won't let him.
Maquigregor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Etena can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Etena shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Maquigregor will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Etena got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maquigregor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Etena has managed to get both his arms back between Maquigregor's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Edan Etena will probably get the nod.

Maquigregor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Etena as he avoids it easily.

Tigey Maquigregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Etena.

Etena throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Maquigregor's head.

Maquigregor turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Maquigregor manages to end up in side control.
Maquigregor tries for a kimura but Etena is defending well.
Maquigregor is breathing heavily.
Etena is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Maquigregor asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Etena is trying to escape the position but Maquigregor is controlling the position.

Maquigregor tries to move to mount but Etena blocks the move with his legs.
Maquigregor in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Etena is pushing Maquigregor's head away, looking to escape. Maquigregor manages to hold on to the position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Etena shoots in for a takedown but Maquigregor shows good takedown defense.
Etena goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Etena thumps Maquigregor with a low kick.
Maquigregor moves into the clinch.
Maquigregor pulls guard successfully.
Maquigregor has his feet on Etena's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Etena throws a shot to the body.
Edan Etena is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Maquigregor moves into range and clinches up with Etena.
Maquigregor is pushing Etena up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maquigregor presses Etena against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Maquigregor jumps into guard, dragging Etena to the mat.
Maquigregor wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Maquigregor throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Maquigregor manages to escape and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tigey Maquigregor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Maquigregor changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Etena looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Etena is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Maquigregor swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Etena is now in Maquigregor's guard. A big mistake from Maquigregor there, giving up the dominant position!
Maquigregor has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Etena missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Etena is fighting to break Maquigregor's control of his arms but Maquigregor is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Maquigregor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Etena gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Etena won't allow Maquigregor to sweep him here.

Etena stands up and waves to Maquigregor to follow him.
Maquigregor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Etena defends well and Maquigregor ends up having to push Etena into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Edan Etena is winning the standup battle so far.
Etena will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Etena wants to get back to striking at distance but Maquigregor won't allow it.
Maquigregor escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
