Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pops Cama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Quaid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cama comes to the cage accompanied by Lollipop. Quaid is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Total Recall. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cama connects with a single shot there.
Cama throws a looping overhand right but Quaid ducks down to avoid it.
Quaid throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Cama counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Quaid avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The fighters circling - Quaid throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cama throws a looping overhand right but Quaid ducks down to avoid it.
Cama walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Quaid sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cama walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've been told by Cama's head coaches at Combat Fitness that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Quaid throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Cama moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Cama throws a series of strikes that have Quaid backpedaling.

Cama moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Quaid has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Cama takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A jab from Cama misses.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Quaid checks a leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Cama.

Quaid throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Quaid chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cama can pounce on him.
Quaid fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cama manages to avoid it.
Quaid uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cama.
Quaid looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Quaid lands a really nice looking cross but Cama seems unphased.
Quaid punishes Cama's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cama fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Quaid looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cama stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Cama fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Quaid is out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Cama.
Cama displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quaid throws out the jab.
Quaid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cama was well out of range. Poor timing from Quaid.
Cama misses with a wild body shot.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cama lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Quaid has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Quaid and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Quaid tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Cama fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Cama pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cama bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Quaid's head backwards.
Cama cracks the inside of Quaid's front leg.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quaid. Cama does a little dance to reset his feet.

Cama throwing a counter right hand but Quaid manages to avoid it.
Cama defending well as Quaid loads up on a big left hand.
Quaid swings for the body but Cama moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Cama on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Quaid missing with a left hand there. Cama was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Cama scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Good exchange - Cama coming out on top.
Cama takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cama steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Quaid.
Cama is looking to counter punch.
Cama throws a leg kick that is checked

and Quaid counters with a takedown into side control.
Quaid trying to control the action but Cama is working from the bottom.
Cama is trying to control Quaid's posture but Quaid avoids it.
The ground and pound from Quaid seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Cama is looking for a sweep.
Quaid has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quaid remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Cama sneaks out the side door and pushes Quaid away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Cama takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Quaid takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Cama is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cama throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Quaid throws a looping overhand right but Cama ducks down to avoid it.
Quaid throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cama sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Quaid drops his shoulder and cracks Cama with a huge uppercut! Cama goes down! Can Quaid finish him?

Cama is rocked!

Cama seems to have got his legs back now.

Quaid stands up over Cama, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Quaid gets to his feet and stands over Cama, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Cama felt that one! Quaid unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Cama from any more punishment!
