Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between William Munny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). William Munny has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, William Munny!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, JJ Bush!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush shoots in but Munny avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Munny misses with a looping left.
Munny slaps away a takedown attempt from Bush, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bush has his takedown stuffed
and Munny counters with a stiff right hand.
William Munny has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JJ Bush.

Bush changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Munny looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bush looks up at the clock and then as Munny takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bush smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bush is looking to take a break and control but Munny is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bush fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Munny is trying to get back to half guard.

Munny is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bush has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Munny tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bush wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bush controls the position.
Munny is not content to let Bush control the position.
Munny parries the strikes from Bush easily there. Bush is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Munny to escape.

Bush wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Munny, who protects the arm well.
Munny regains half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Munny tries to get to full guard but Bush has control of the leg.
Bush not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Munny on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Munny tries to get out of the position.
Bush lands strikes from half guard.
Bush trying to control from half guard but Munny is working away.
Munny tries to kick Bush off but Bush keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Bush missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Munny makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Munny.
Bush pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Munny is keeping the position for now.
Munny keeping moving, preventing Bush from controlling successfully.

Munny is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bush fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Munny sprawls well initially but Bush persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Bush sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Munny defending well though.
Munny wants to improve his position but Bush is controlling well.
Bush with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Munny is trying to maintain the position but Bush is very close to passing his half guard.
Bush looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Well, if Bush is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bush tries to pass the half guard into mount. Munny knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bush throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bush prevents Munny from standing back up.

Munny is defending against the submission attempts here by Bush.
Munny taking some punishment here, with Bush in his half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JJ Bush dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Munny scores with a sloppy right hand. Bush should have avoided that one.
Munny loads up on a big right hand but Bush slips the punch.
Bush has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Munny slips under a jab from Bush.
Munny missing with a left hand there. Bush was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bush shoots in looking for a takedown but Munny manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bush's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
JJ Bush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Munny.

Munny gets caught napping as Bush dives in and scores a takedown. Munny manages to retain guard.
Bush won't allow Munny to get back to his feet.
Bush trying to control but Munny is working from the bottom.
Bush stops Munny from standing up.
Munny wants to sweep here but Bush controlling him for the moment.

Munny keeping moving, preventing Bush from controlling successfully.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bush closes this distance looking for a takedown but Munny circles away.
Munny tests Bush's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bush shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Munny comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Bush stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Munny is on him like rabid pit bull! Bush slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). William Munny!
William Munny is the new bantamweight champion!
