Kozak has chosen Celdweller - Shapeshifter as his entrance music. Jimmie Johns could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Piotr Kozak's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimmie Johns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Piotr Kozak!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns misses with a takedown attempt - Kozak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kozak is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kozak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johns is fending him off so far but Kozak persists. Nope, Johns circles away and we're back to standing.
Kozak fails with a takedown attempt.
Kozak shoots for a takedown but Johns saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jimmie Johns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piotr Kozak.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johns throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Kozak.


It looks like Piotr Kozak has been cut.
Johns has a takedown stuffed.
Kozak tried to score with a low kick but Johns checks it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johns.

Kozak defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johns.
Johns keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Johns is looking to counter the offense by Kozak and move into the clinch.
Johns darts in looking for a takedown but Kozak gets double underhooks and turns Johns into the cage.
Kozak dives in for a single leg takedown but Johns sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kozak fails with a takedown attempt.
Kozak misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Johns gets a double leg takedown into Kozak's guard.
Kozak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kozak being controlled here, momentarily.
Johns stands up over Kozak, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Johns slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kozak has his foot on Johns's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johns works his way back into a safe position though.
Kozak looks winded!

Kozak being controlled here, momentarily.
Johns trying to control but Kozak is working from the bottom.
Johns is working Kozak over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Kozak escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johns gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Johns is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kozak stuffs the takedown attempt from Johns. Johns gets slowly back to his feet.
Kozak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johns pinned against the cage. Johns gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Johns closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kozak to the mat! Kozak manages to get full guard.
Johns won't allow Kozak to sweep him here.
Johns will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Johns makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Johns trying to control the position from guard on top but Kozak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Johns advances position into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jimmie Johns dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Piotr Kozak's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Johns shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kozak defends it nicely.
Kozak is looking to clinch but Johns is avoiding it.
Johns appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Johns gets caught napping as Kozak dives in and scores a takedown. Johns manages to retain guard.

Johns looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kozak trying to control but Johns is working from the bottom.
Johns is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kozak can do to turn this around?

Johns is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kozak rolls with it to try and escape but Johns cranks on the arm and Kozak is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jimmie Johns!
A relieved looking Jimmie Johns thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Piotr Kozak spoke after the fight, saying 'My enemy was better today. Good luck and thanks for help my fans.'.
