The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onthescene takes a kick to the side of the head.
Hammond blocks a leg kick.
Hammond could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hammond tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Onthescene throws a head punch that misses.

Hammond pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Hammond takes the fight into the clinch.

Onthescene is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hammond is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Onthescene to the mat. Onthescene regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hammond wanted to stand there but Onthescene had control of the position.

Onthescene is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hammond has his hands clasped together but Onthescene extends and breaks Hammond's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Onthescene.
