The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sanderson on the side of the head.

It looks like Marcelo Sanderson has been cut.
Owens could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sanderson tries to clinch there but Owens circles away.
Owens shoots in for a takedown but Sanderson shows good takedown defense.
Sanderson wants to counter with a clinch but Owens pushes him away.

Owens batters Sanderson with a massive right followed by a huge left! Sanderson is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Owens lands a final crushing right hand to drop Sanderson to the mat with a gruesome thud! Owens is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
