The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romo misses with a head kick.

Takahashi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Romo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Romo wants to land a leg kick but Takahashi is out of range.
Takahashi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Takahashi drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Good leg kick by Takahashi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Romo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Romo throws the left hand but Takahashi avoids the punch easily.
Takahashi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Romo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Romo throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Romo misses with an uppercut. Takahashi saw that one coming.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Romo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Takahashi - the referee stops the clock and Romo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Takahashi. Romo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Romo looks to land a body kick but Takahashi moved away.
Takahashi attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Romo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Takahashi lands a big head kick that sends Romo tumbling to the mat! Takahashi takes a step backwards and waves Romo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like John Kyle Romo has been cut.
A nice inside leg kick there by Takahashi. That's going to slow Romo down.
Oh Romo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Romo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Takahashi is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Takahashi lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Romo - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Takahashi!
