Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doppo Orochi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guillaume Veilleux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veilleux is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pou Lari A.. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Orochi forces Veilleux back against the cage and clinches.

Veilleux sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Doppo Orochi will probably get the nod.

Orochi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Veilleux manages to avoid it.
Veilleux will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Orochi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Orochi lands a left and a right that send Veilleux crashing to the mat, dazed. Orochi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Veilleux is still on wobbly legs! Can Orochi finish him?
Veilleux drops his hands for a split second and Orochi immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Veilleux face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Orochi follows up with a right hand that knocks Veilleux into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
